Career Opportunities
Employment in the transportation and related industries will continue to grow. According
to Washington Workforce Explorer employment projections for the following positions will
increase between 2007 and 2014 in the six county Northeastern Workforce Development Area;
procurement clerks, purchasing agents, purchasing managers, dispatchers, first-line
supervisors/managers of transportation, shipping and receiving clerks, transportation,
storage and distribution managers, logisticians.
