Guidelines
People's Clinic West accepts SFCC students on a walk-in basis. The clinic is open
through June 15, 2007. You will need your SFCC Student ID.
Services are provided by a Washington State licenced ARNP, WSU College of Nursing
faculty member with assistance from nursing students under his or her direction.
Your SFCC Associated Student Service and Activities Fees help fund this program.
Free services include:
- Primary diagnosis and initial management of minor illness or injury
- Prescribed and OTC medications
- Clearance for return to school, work, sports participation
- Simple diagnostic tests (i.e. pregnancy, rapid strep, urine dip, finger stick
glucose)
- Hypertension screening and body fat measurement
- Brief physical exams and immunizations
- Same-day appointments arranged for some conditions (i.e. psychological counseling,
pap smears, chronic medical problems)
- No emergency services will be provided.
