Supplemental Instruction (also called "SI") is a series of student-led study groups that meet outside of
class time. These sessions offer lively-in-depth review of the material presented during class, with
facilitation by an SI Leader—an SFCC student who has already taken the course.

What do students attending SI say?
“I can hear other people’s questions, am asked questions, and make a lot of connections!”
“Bouncing information off others and seeing how others are studying and learning helps me.”
“It’s great to have the input of someone who’s taken the class and understands the material.”
