''I have been here for 18 years. Before SFCC I worked as the Student Services Director at Northern Montana College for 11 years. My goals for the Multicultural Center are to assist the students from entrance to reaching their educational goals at SFCC, to provide students of color a place that they can feel safe and comfortable and to assist students become leaders in the community.'' |

Education: Graduated from Wuhan Physical Education Institute in China.
Jane Gong was born and grew up in China. She moved to Ottawa, Canada in 1985, then to Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA and finally Spokane in 2002.
Jane has worked in the multicultural office/center for more than 6 years. She loves her job and enjoys helping students. She has brought her unique culture background to the center and will continue to support multicultural student services in any way that she can.
Besides SFCC, she is involved with activities in the local Chinese community. She is the president of the Spokane Chinese Association and director of the Spokane Chinese Dance Group. |
