Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration

Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream: that one day we could all hold hands – black and white – and live together as equals; that people would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. The SFCC Multicultural Center, along with the nation, celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr.’s contributions toward equity and justice with activities designed to heighten awareness of the African Americans in Spokane. Activities include speakers, vendors of authentic food and crafts, plus music and poetry.
