Accomplishments
- The mission statement is accurate and now needs to be consistent in all documents.
- There is an increase in the number of students using the Multicultural Center.
- The mentoring/tutoring program is reaching more students. We have set up recruiting tables and have
had more cultural events.
- Formal structures are accurate and are reviewed periodically and updated.

Current Action Plans
- Provide an environment that will bring students together to discuss similar academic and
cultural needs.
- Provide an environment for cultural safety and comfort.
- Provide access to counseling and advising.
- Provide a meeting place for ethnic clubs and activities.
- Request more space and resources for the center.

Recommendations for the Future
- We need to develop job descriptions for mentors and tutors.
- We need to continue to try to obtain more space to accommodate center growth.
- We need to make sure the mission statement is consistent in all documents.
- We need to continue to work at making the center a place where people of all cultures are welcomed.
- We need to get the names of people who are involved in the multicultural activities.
- We need an outline for orientation to the center available at the front desk.
- We need to have a quiet study time implemented (i.e. 1:00 - 2:00 PM or 10:00 - 11:00 AM for allotted study/quiet time).
- We need to have more frequent meetings to make goals clear for everyone.
