Hey there! I’m Candice McKinley and I am thrilled to be your Activities Vice President this year! In addition to planning events, I have a passion for cheer, dance, and the ocean. I have lived in the San Juan Islands for half of my life, so the more water that I have around me- the better!! This is my second year at Spokane Falls Community College. After obtaining my AA, I plan to transfer to Gonzaga to study law and become a judge. If you have any events that you would like to see on campus, please come see me!

Ahoy! I’m Nick Boe, and I’m the Associated Student Secretary! This is my second year here at the Falls. I’ve been involved with clubs on the campus since my first quarter here, including Gamers Club, Anime Club, Speech and Debate Club, and Creative Writing Club. As you can probably guess from my club involvement, I’m a huge nerd. I type over a hundred words a minute, so if you ever attend a meeting I’m taking minutes for, you’ll probably be weirded out by the fact that I’m more or less typing what people say verbatim, on a good day. After I get my AA, I’m planning to transfer to a film school, and become a film major, with intentions to go in to the television industry as an editor.

I’ve lived in Spokane for only a few short years but I have grown to love all of Spokane and its wonders. I enjoy mountain climbing, skydiving, and living in Spokane. I love to spend as much time as I can with my son in all of the great parks here in town. I am a visual arts student earning two degrees; one in Photography and one in Business Administration. This year I opened my photography business (www.urbangorilliaz.com) as well as accepted the position of Director of Marketing for the A.S.G. Since I have been attending SFCC, I have become involved with the Photo Arts Club, as the Vice President, and as the AS Rep for the Activities Board. My goal is to make advertisements that student will enjoy reading and find very informative. If you see me around, say hi.

Hello my fellow students! My name is Sarah Howerton, and I am this years’ Special Events Programmer. This is my second year here at the Falls, and I decided to join Student Government because I wanted to be more involved. In my spare time when I am not working here at the school, I enjoy reading a good book and long walks on the beach. Summer is my favorite season by far. After this year, I hope to study abroad and eventually major in Political Science. If you have any awesome ideas for an event you want to see, I’m your girl!
