About the Gallery

The SFCC Fine Arts Gallery provides an educational experience to students and the Spokane community by featuring exhibitions from regional, national and international artists working in a variety of media.

The SFCC Fine Arts Gallery is located in the main lobby in the Fine Arts Building, Bldg. 6. All exhibitions and lectures are free and open to the public.

Fitness Center/Weight Room

Exercise Equipment

Opened for use in December 1993, the student Fitness Center is available to SFCC students, faculty and staff at affordable rates. The facilities includes a 10,900 square foot physical education building and a 3,500 square foot fitness center which houses a training room, an aerobic gymnasium, a multipurpose gymnasium and a free-weight room.

About the Library

The SFCC Library is one of the original buildings on campus built in the 1970s and remodelled several times to keep up with the needs of modern students. The library is filled with over 40,000 books, current periodicals, music CDs, and videos. Technology updates, including computer research stations with Internet access, informational databases, electronic classrooms and teaching labs, give students access to the latest academic resources and information.

The Library is located in Building 2 on the SFCC Campus.

Music Building Auditorium

Music Auditorium

The Music Building, Bldg. 15, houses a 613-seat auditorium that hosts evening concerts by SFCC College groups. Enjoy an enchanting evening listening to performances by the Community Band, Community Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combos, Choral Music, and the Commercial Music Groups. Music Auditorium

Building Facilities

In addition to the Auditorium, the Music Building features:
  • Recording Studio - A 16-track recording studio where students can record, engineer and produce their own tape and CD projects.
  • Digital Keyboard Lab - This laboratory provides 16 full-sized, action-weighted digital keyboards with midi capability.
  • Music Midi-Lab - This lab features up-to-date music composition software as well as music writing programs.

The SFCC Photography Gallery is located in the main lobby in Building 11. Call (509) 533-3500 for information about current exhibits displaying faculty, student, local, regional, national, and international photographic artists.

Production Schedule and Ticket Information

About the Theatre

Located in the Communications Building, Bldg. 5, the 212-seat Spartan Theatre is an ideal place to spend a captivating evening experiencing plays produced by the SFCC Drama Department.

Spartan Theatre The Theatre features a recently installed digital lighting system, new seating and carpeting, complete wardrobe and makeup facilities, and a set design and construction workshop. The Drama Department performs three to seven major productions per year.
