The library has purchased online access to the full text of a collection of books
on topics such as computer science, Pacific Northwest history, as well as other
academic and reference titles.
From the SFCC Library homepage, click
on the Book Catalog, then click on the Ebooks link in the banner at the top of the
page. At the NetLibrary site you can use any book for 15 minutes.
Get an eBooks user account
Once you obtain an account, you can "check out" a specific book for up to 12 hours.
From the NetLibrary Site, click on the "Create a Free Account" link at the top right
corner of the page. You can also get an account when visiting the SFCC Library or
one of the IEL Centers. Or call the SFCC Library and the reference desk librarian
can quickly create an account for you: (509) 533-3834 or 1-800-251-1972. You can
check out books on any computer anywhere but you must enter through the
SFCC Library homepage. (Bookmarks
do not work.)
How do I locate eBooks on my topic?
Use a Book Catalog search. In the Book Catalog,
from the Advanced Search screen, type your search term on one line and the term
"electronic book" on another:

Any material in our catalog that is full text online will be marked [electronic
resource] and will have a main entry line Online Resources: followed
by a link to the eBook. Click on the link, which takes you to the NetLibrary site.
