Program Description
The Marketing program is designed for students who want to specialize in fields involved with the distribution of goods and services from producer to consumer. Students take core business courses followed by marketing specialty courses such as marketing, retailing, advertising and salesmanship. Students are also required to gain work experience as part of the program.
Course of Study
Keyboarding proficiency of 35 WPM required.

Marketing and sales promotion employees are the second largest group in the state of Washington today. Careers in marketing span every type of organization. The US Department of Labor predicts approximately 135,000 openings annually for the next several years in retail merchandising because of business growth and retirements.
POTENTIAL POSITIONS INCLUDE: assistant manager, buyer, department manager, management trainee, marketing assistants, merchandise manager, store manager, and other positions found in the marketing field of today's businesses.
