Steps for admission if you are a new student with no previous college

1. Obtain an application for admission in one of the following ways:
   • You may apply online.
   • You may download a printable application.
   • You may request an application and brochures be mailed to you.
   • An application is included in the front section of any quarterly class schedule.
   • Request an application from your high school counselor.
   • Drop by the college Admissions Office in person.
     
     
2. Complete the application and submit it in one of the following ways:
   • If you apply online, submit the online application as instructed. In one or two business days you will receive notification by email of the Student Identification Number (SID) assigned to you. Be sure to make a note of your SID! Mail the $15 nonrefundable fee to the address below and include your SID on the check.
   • Mail paper-based applications, together with the $15 nonrefundable fee, to the address below.

3. You will receive a letter from the New Student Entry Center regarding your admission status. Be sure to follow instructions given in the letter about assessment, advising and New Student Orientation/registration appointments. A $20 fee must be paid at the Cashier’s in Building 17 before completing an assessment.
   
   
4. Pay for tuition by due date.
