The purpose of the International Language Center (ILC) is to provide language students
with a wide variety of multimedia and computer equipment to aid in learning international
languages and English as a second language.
The Center is equipped with 34 Windows XP Pro PCs. They have several applications
such as Microsoft Office 2003; Before You Know It for Spanish, French and German;
and Rosetta Stone, with several available languages such as English as a Second
Language (ESL), French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese.
More computer software and foreign language multimedia may be checked out at the
Support Counter for use in the Center. All computers have access to the Internet
using Netscape Communicator and Internet Explorer. Students are encouraged to get
free email accounts.
