Every year, SFCC’s International Education Committee gives foreign faculty around the world the opportunity to enjoy a year of teaching at our College.
In the German department there is the position of a language assistant available. This job gives you the opportunity to accomplish first steps in foreign language teaching and everything involved with it.

Learn how to prepare and create classroom materials, develop your own lesson plans, assist within the classroom, grade quizzes, assignments and tests, supervise group and class work, maybe even teach your own class and be a German partner for your students. Enjoy the work of a great Deutsch Klub, the conversation at our German Stammtisch, and most of all be open minded about your own culture and share it with your students. Be a part of our campus!

This German language assistant program has been very successfully cooperating with the Gerhard-Mercator University in Duisburg, and the Justus Liebig University in Gießen, Germany for the past years.
