English as a Second Language

English as a second language courses help prepare non-native English speakers for the transition into academic and vocational studies at Spokane Falls Community College. The courses are designed to provide practice in language skills required at the college level. In order to achieve academic success, the courses help students develop better writing, reading, speaking and study skills.

In addition, lab-style English courses specifically designed for ESL students are offered in a learning center environment. They include the following:
