The A.S.T. degree is
for community colleges in Washington State as of Fall 2000. Consult the AST Degree Worksheet

The A.S.T. degree is a way to complete the first two years of a four-year degree
in specific math/science intensive programs. This degree requires 90 quarter-credits
of course work, some of which must satisfy general Liberal Arts requirements (including
a "W" course). Other general university requirements will
need to be met at the transfer institution.
Transfer requirements vary for Computer Science related majors. Students should
consult with an academic advisor at Spokane Falls the appropriate department at
the transfer university for actual requirements. In general, though, Computer
