The A.S.T.
degree is a newer degree for community colleges in Washington State as of
Fall 2000. Consult the
AST Degree Worksheet for up-to-date information regarding requirements.
The A.S.T. degree is a means of completing the first two years of a four-year degree
in specific math/science intensive programs. This degree requires 90 quarter-credits
of course work, some of which must satisfy general Liberal Arts requirements (including
a "W" course). Other general university requirements will
need to be met at the transfer institution.
Transfer requirements vary for Computer Engineering. Students should consult
with an academic advisor at Spokane Falls and the appropriate department at the
transfer university for actual requirements. The typical student schedules
listed below are suggested for the Washington State University/ University of Idaho/
Gonzaga University Computer Engineering Consortium program.
