Speech Communications Program

This course focuses on learning and applying theories related to interpersonal communication within a variety of relationships. Students will study the skills and techniques associated with personal growth, verbal and nonverbal communication, active listening, stress management, and conflict management skills which lead to healthy personal relationships.

** This class is cross listed with HS 136: Improving Interpersonal Communication and fulfills the same certification requirements. This class also transfers to baccalaureate college and university programs which may require interpersonal communication.
