Speech Communications Program

This class focuses on the learning and application of theories related to gender communication. Students learn both verbal and nonverbal gender-based styles of communication, perceptual and information processing differences, stereo-typing, and gender-based socialization within a variety of cultural perspectives. Students will study gender communication as it relates to friendships and workplace relationships.
